Vintage coats

A nice coat is such an important peace of clothing and my favourites are the feminine ones from the 30s-50s that have a fur collar attached. For the right classic and stylish look the coat should be worn with heels, a cute little bag and also some gloves and a hat.


These two pages are from an Autumn catalogue from Galleries LaFayette and show the fashion of 1939/1940. I just wish the coats were still for sale!

I love how this young lady wears the classic coat with a belt and with coloured tights. This outfit is a perfect mix of classic style and modern creativity.
